I've recently started reading more (which is to say for me a hell of a lot) roughly 1 book a week I read which in itself is rubbish compared to my wife who will go through 3 books a week when she's *really* trying to ignore me.
Anyhoo, I'm fed up of paper books, fed up of storing them, fed up of the kids dropping them down the toilet and with the amount of downloadable free books on the net I'm looking into getting a so called 'ebook reader'. Found a few options so far, The Sony Reader Digital and the Cybook Gen3 and the mybebook plus many more. I'll look into them more and report back.
At this point I have not read any more about them than just looking and deciding this is the newest bestest thing ever that I really need in my life.

Geek news is that Formula 1 rights for videogames has gone to Codemasters.
Rant Mode On
This for me is good news as I've always wanted to play F1 games on the PC/Consoles but always found them to be, well, ABSOLUTELY RUBBISH.
They either feel like they are on rails, or they are just so stupidly difficult it's impossible, Gran Turismo and Forza had a perfect balance, why not F1 Games.

My nuts thought of the week.
Why do owls Hoot? (I thought of this whilst decideing if I should go outside and throw something at the hooting owl in the nearby churchyard.
Anyhoo apparently Owls hoot to either
a. Communicate with other owls/birds or
b. To Warn off other animals/owls/birds
c. To really get on my nerves
d. Or it wants to get lucky (hearing you loud and clear owly).
I hate hooting owls.
