This is a homage to Asteroids on the Atari, and came about totally by accident as I was working on speed issues with OpenGL on the Mac Platform. As I'd pretty much created a working model thought I'd put it up as a screen saver. I changed the original idea from being a computer running game as I didn't want to have any copyright issues.
